Ilarion has benefitted from hatha yoga since 2004, when she got the clear intuitive message to begin practicing. It was that year that she came to understand that anything we engage with has the ability to enhance and support our overall wellbeing or detract from it. Since then, she has been committed 100% to the path of wellbeing. Her journey in yoga has taken her through four 200-hour yoga teacher trainings, in addition to a multitude of other trainings, practices, and adventures. Ultimately, Ilarion is committed to a practice of higher consciousness, the core of yoga – of yoking with our truth, our divinity. Ilarion believes in the powerful balancing, strengthening, and transformative gifts of asana practice, and of yoga practice as a whole. Ilarion is not currently offering yoga classes at this time. |
Hatha Yoga
Ilarion’s hatha yoga classes are invigorating and balancing, utilizing a broad spectrum of poses. She teaches an alignment-based hatha yoga, focusing on certain key principles that strengthen the body and bring it into optimal alignment. After a brief centering, we begin the practice of asana, moving through an active sequence of sun salutations, balancing poses, backbends, forward bends, and more. The practice awakens energy in the body and focus in the mind, and brings greater balance, flexibility, and clarity on all levels.
